Why do the voices differ on my phone and laptop?
Because they come from the operating system, not from this page. Windows, macOS, Android and iOS each ship different voices, and some browsers expose more of them than others.
Can I download the audio?
No. The API speaks through your device but does not expose a recordable stream, so there is no file to save. Producing an audio file needs a dedicated TTS service.
Is my text sent anywhere?
