Worth knowing

Draw larger than you need. A signature drawn small and scaled up looks shaky and pixelated, while one drawn large and placed small looks smooth. If you sign documents regularly, draw it once on a touchscreen and keep the result — it will be better than anything you produce with a trackpad.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this legally binding?

It may be, and this tool cannot tell you. Many jurisdictions accept a drawn electronic signature for ordinary agreements, while property, wills and some financial documents demand more. A drawn image carries no cryptographic proof of who signed or when. If it matters, ask a lawyer or use a certificate-based service.

How is this different from DocuSign?

Those services attach a verifiable digital certificate and an audit trail proving who signed and when. This draws a picture of a signature onto a page. For an internal form the difference rarely matters; for a contract it can matter a great deal.

My signature looks terrible with a mouse.

It will — a mouse is a poor pen. Open the tool on a phone or tablet and use your finger, or sign a blank sheet, photograph it, and add it as an image instead.

Can I sign more than one page?
