Worth knowing

Ask which <em>edition</em> of the style you need. APA 7 changed several rules from APA 6 — including dropping the publisher location and how multiple authors are listed — so a correctly formatted APA 6 reference is now a wrong APA 7 one. Departments often specify an edition and rarely mention it twice.
