  1. Write the overview last, even though it appears first — it is a summary and you cannot summarise what you have not written.
  2. List deliverables as things the client will receive, not activities you will perform.

Worth knowing

Deliverables should be nouns, not verbs. "Five product photographs, retouched, supplied as high-resolution JPEG" can be delivered and checked off. "Photography services" cannot, and a proposal full of verbs is a proposal that ends in an argument about whether the work is finished.

Should pricing go in the proposal?

Is this a contract?
