What Stream Asset Sizer does
Resizes an image to the exact dimensions a specific platform slot requires — YouTube thumbnails, channel banners and avatars, Twitch banners, avatars, info panels, offline screens and emotes.
Pick the destination rather than typing numbers, so there is nothing to look up and nothing to mistype.

Worth knowing
Channel banners are the one to be careful with. The full image only ever appears on a desktop TV layout; phones crop hard to the centre, and that is where most people will see it. Keep your name and anything essential in the middle third, and treat the outer edges as decoration that may never be seen.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my banner look cropped on mobile?
Because it is. Channel banners are displayed at very different aspect ratios across TV, desktop and mobile, and the platform crops to the centre on small screens. Design for the centre and let the edges be scenery.
Does resizing hurt quality?
Scaling down is safe and often sharpens the result. Scaling up is not — always start from an image at least as large as the target.
Should I compress after resizing?
If the file is large, yes. Platforms enforce file size limits as well as dimensions, and a correctly sized banner can still be rejected for weight. Run it through Compress Image afterwards.
Are these dimensions current?
They match the platforms’ published specifications, but platforms do change them occasionally. If an upload is rejected on size, check the current help page — and the tool will be updated.
Is Stream Asset Sizer free?
Yes. The Vootkit free plan includes 5 tool runs a day. Upgrade to Vootkit Pro for unlimited daily use, an ad-free workspace and saved workflows.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Stream Asset Sizer runs entirely in your browser — your file is processed on your own device and never sent to a server. There is nothing for us to store or delete.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Stream Asset Sizer works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone. Open the page and start.
How often can I use it? Is there a daily limit?
On the free plan you get 5 tool runs a day. When you reach the limit you'll see a prompt to upgrade, and it resets the next day. Vootkit Pro removes the cap entirely for unlimited daily use.
