A practical example

For a four-day trip with one work meeting and access to laundry, distinguish essentials, reusable clothing and meeting-specific items. Cross out duplicate chargers only after checking which devices use the same connector and power requirements. Assign each shared item to a named traveller so two people do not both assume the other packed it.

Check the result

Check the forecast, accommodation facilities and planned activities before accepting generated suggestions. Review medicines and documents against your own requirements rather than treating a general list as complete.

Try a comparison

Mark each item as packed, needed or available at the destination. An item supplied by the accommodation does not need to occupy luggage space, but confirm that provision before removing it. Keep travel documents and time-sensitive items separate from optional convenience items.
